When do order types change on the Saudi Stock Exchange?
Upon the conclusion of the auction phase, the Saudi Stock Exchange will convert any remaining market orders into limit orders. If a stock does not have an established auction price, these orders will be canceled. Here are the specifics:
At the end of all auctions, any unmatched portions of market orders will be converted into limit orders at the Theoretical Price. If a theoretical price is not determined, the trading system will cancel any outstanding market orders.
* The Theoretical Price is defined as the price at which the highest volume of securities can be traded.
