What's the trading unit for options?
The contract multiplier for a general U.S. stock option is 100, which represents 100 underlying shares to be exercised in an option contract. For example, if an investor holds an in-the-money call option, the investor has to purchase 100 shares of the underlying stock when exercising his/her option.
