1. What is the Rebate Coupon?

The Rebate Coupon is a commission discount provided by Sahm to users. After using the rebate coupon, for transactions involving the designated products specified by the coupon, Sahm will automatically refund a portion of the commission back to the user.

2. Instructions of Use

  • Activation: Before using the rebate coupon, you need to activate the coupon first based on the instructions.
  • Eligible Products: The range of eligible products varies by coupon. The "Details" part will specify which trading products are eligible for rebates. Please refer to the specific coupon description.
  • Rebate Percentage: The commission rebate is calculated as a percentage of the commission generated by the actual transaction amount of the order. You can check the rebate percentage on the coupon page. 
  • Valid Period: Each rebate coupon has an expiration date. You can check the expiration date on the coupon page. All actual transaction orders completed before the expiration date are eligible for the rebate.
  • Maximum Rebate Amount: Each coupon has a maximum rebate limit. Once this limit is exceeded, even orders placed within the valid period will not qualify for further rebates. If the rebate expires and the amount is unused, it will automatically be forfeited.
  • Rebate Timing:
    • U.S. Stocks: Commissions generated from actual transactions of the previous trading day will be refunded before the market opens on the next trading day.
    • Saudi Stocks: Commissions generated from actual transactions of the current trading day will be refunded the same day after the market closes.

  • Q: What is a rebate?
    • A: A rebate means that when your order is completed, Sahm will charge a commission fee. If you use a rebate coupon, a certain percentage of the commission will be refunded to you after the order is cleared.
  • Q: How do I know if I’m currently enjoying a rebate?
    • A: If you have activated a rebate coupon, you can check your coupon list and find the corresponding rebate coupon. If it shows "Rebate is in effect," then you are enjoying the rebate. Please refer to the coupon details for specific rebate information.
  • Q: Can I use another rebate coupon for a product that is already enjoying a rebate?
    • A: To avoid conflicts, you cannot use another rebate coupon if a rebate has been already applied to the same product. Once the rebate for that product expires, you can use a new rebate coupon.
  • Q: Can the rebate amount be withdrawn directly? Are there any usage restrictions?
    • A: The daily refunded commission can be withdrawn or used for placing orders with no restrictions.
  •  Q: If I use the rebate coupon after the Saudi market closes, will the day's orders still qualify for a rebate?
    • A: Orders made on the same day will not qualify for a rebate if the coupon is used after the market closes. It’s recommended to use the rebate coupon in advance.
  • Q: What will happen if the U.S. market is closed the next day? When will today’s commission be refunded?
    • A: If the U.S. market is closed the next day, the commission generated from today’s transactions will be refunded before the market opening of the next trading day. No rebates will be processed during the closure.
  • Q: How will the rebate be handled for orders that are partially completed over multiple days?
    • A: If an order is completed over several trading days, the commission for each day’s actual transaction will be refunded separately. The cumulative rebate amount will not exceed the maximum percentage allowed for a single order by the rebate coupon.
  • Q: Can the maximum rebate amount be withdrawn directly?
    • A: The maximum rebate amount represents the upper limit of rebate entitlement, not actual funds, and thus cannot be withdrawn.
  • Q: How can I check if the rebate amount has been credited to my portfolio?
    • A: You can go to the Sidebar—My Coupons, find the used rebate coupon, and access the rebate details to see all rebate records generated by that coupon.
  • Q: Why haven’t I received a rebate after my order was completed?
    • A: There are two possible reasons why you haven’t received a rebate:
      (1) You have used a commission-free coupon, meaning Sahm did not charge you any commission, so no rebate is applicable.
      (2) The rebate amount generated from your order is less than SAR 0.005. If the amount is below Sahm’s supported precision level, the rebate cannot be processed.
