Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2025, which concluded its 35th edition last night, recorded a 25 percent increase in sales reaching AED 500 million compared to 2024, strengthening Sharjah's position as a leading destination for shopping, entertainment, and tourism .
The festival, organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, saw widespread participation from shopping malls, shops, productive families, and entrepreneurs, offering discounts of up to 75 percent on numerous brands, according to the Emirates News Agency, WAM.
The festival achieved great success in stimulating the retail sector and trade activity in the emirate's markets, offering exceptional shopping experiences over 38 days in various cities and regions of Sharjah, accompanied by 12 entertainment and artistic events .
The 35th edition of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2025 kicked off on February 22nd. Organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the festival will run until March 31st across the emirate's cities and regions, in collaboration with a number of local government departments, authorities, and institutions, as well as the private sector. The festival will transform Sharjah into a destination for joyful celebrations of the holy month, marking one of the region's most prominent heritage, community, and economic festivals and events .
This year's festival, which is witnessing wide participation from the emirate's major shopping malls and shops, productive families, entrepreneurs, and small business owners, offers a variety of family entertainment activities and outdoor Ramadan markets, most notably the Al Layyah Ramadan Market, which offers a variety of fashion, handicrafts, food, household goods, and other exhibits. The festival also includes many traditional arts shows, cultural experiences, and community events, which enhance the spirit of community cooperation and communication in line with the values of the holy month .
This year’s festival features a diverse range of attractive events and marketing activities, offering Sharjah residents and visitors a variety of shopping experiences over the course of 38 days. These include amazing promotions and huge discounts on a wide range of the most famous international brands, along with a range of activities aimed at adding more fun and joy during the holy month of Ramadan. The event is full of many pleasant surprises for shoppers, who will have the opportunity to win a range of valuable prizes awarded by the participating shopping malls and retail stores .
