Ministry of Finance organizes a meeting for leaders of governance, risk and compliance in the financial system

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Ministry of Finance, represented by the General Department of Governance, Risk and Compliance, concluded its participatory meeting in the financial system, which it recently organized at its headquarters in Riyadh under the title: “Leaders of Governance, Risk and Compliance in the Financial System.”
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Steering Committee, Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Furaih, with the participation of representatives from the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the Efficiency and Government Procurement Authority, the National Center for Government Resource Systems, and the Red Sea International Company.
The participants in the meeting discussed a number of important topics related to improving governance, transparency, and avoiding conflicts of interest. They also discussed the use of digital tools to achieve effective risk management, including artificial intelligence tools currently present in existing initiatives expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025, while noting the most important emerging risks in the sector.
The meeting aims to enhance cooperation and exchange of expertise between financial system entities by transferring best practices and discussing common challenges, which contributes to improving governance, risk and compliance communities.
