It is considered one of the most important markets for Egyptian exports in the building materials sector, as the Building Materials Export Council works to overcome the obstacles facing exporters and provide them with the necessary support to enhance their presence in foreign markets, as the sector’s exports to the Kingdom’s markets jumped to record $1.5 billion in 2024 .

The Egyptian participation is expected to contribute to enhancing exports of building materials to Saudi Arabia, as it is targeted to increase exports to the Kingdom by 10% by the end of 2025 .

The exhibition is organized by the international company "Expo Consultant", in cooperation with the Egyptian Building Materials Export Council, the Egyptian Trade Representation, and the Egyptian Exhibitions and Conferences Authority .

The exhibition comes as part of a broader Egyptian strategy aimed at strengthening trade relations and increasing the volume of trade exchange between the two countries, which has witnessed remarkable growth in recent years, as it is the largest Egyptian participation in the building materials sector in an external exhibition .

The exhibition aims to showcase the latest products and technologies in the field of building materials, including cement, iron, glass, ceramics, and sanitary ware, in addition to modern and sustainable construction techniques. It also provides an ideal platform for Egyptian companies to hold meetings with major investors, contractors, and buyers from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States .

The Egyptian companies participating in the exhibition represent various sectors of the building materials industry, including leading companies in the production of cement, iron, ceramics, glass, heating and cooling companies, in addition to companies specialized in modern and sustainable building technologies. This participation comes within the framework of Egypt's efforts to enhance its non-petroleum exports, especially in the building materials sector, which is one of the promising sectors in the Egyptian economy .

The exhibition was inaugurated by Mohammed Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Contractors Authority .

The exhibition reflects the integration between the Egyptian and Saudi economies, as Egypt provides high-quality products at competitive prices, while Saudi Arabia provides a large market for these products .
