Riyadh - Mubasher: Packaging Materials Manufacturing Company ( FIPCO ) announced that it has obtained the gold category of the “Made in Saudi Arabia” mark as a national company supporting local content, among only 7 national companies that have received the honor of merit.

The company explained in a statement to "Tadawul" today, Thursday, that this was announced at the second edition of the Local Content Forum, which will be held during the period from November 20-22, 2024 AD in the city of Riyadh .

She said that this merit came after FIBCO also won first place in the private sector axis and was crowned with the Excellence Award in Local Content for large establishments in the industry and mining sector from the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority during the last edition of the Local Content Award, which was previously announced in detail on the website of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on February 18, 2024 AD .

She pointed out that the company's achievement of first place in the private sector axis and winning the Excellence Award in Local Content for large establishments in the industrial and mining sector, and obtaining the gold category for the "Made in Saudi Arabia" mark, in addition to a large number of the company's products and its subsidiary obtaining the Saudi Quality Mark, will enhance the confidence of customers from the private sector and government agencies, achieve the company's marketing goals, and contribute effectively to penetrating new markets on the regional and global levels.

She stated that this comes from FIBCO’s constant keenness to play its role towards society and its contribution to achieving the goals of the wise leadership to raise the percentage of local content in the national economy, and since the local content criterion is one of the most prominent criteria considered in evaluating companies.

FIBCO has developed a strategic plan and has harnessed all available capabilities to increase its local content, while also focusing its efforts on steadily increasing its exports of its products and those of its affiliated companies in light of the effective participation in specialized trade fairs and the tremendous support provided by the Saudi Export Development Authority and the Saudi Export-Import Bank in this regard .

FIBCO will continue to implement and support mechanisms that increase its local content by continuing to employ and attract Saudi cadres within its operational and administrative team, in addition to continuing to invest in research and development initiatives, and exerting double efforts so that such awards and honors are entitlements that FIBCO always seeks to obtain.
