Riyadh - Mubasher: Media figure Amr Adeeb said that half of the world's problems are currently being discussed in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Adeeb added during his program "Al Hekaya" on "MBC Masr" channel, on Monday evening, that the Russian-Ukrainian war, the Gaza disaster, and other files are currently being negotiated.

He explained that the Saudi leadership is working to mediate, find solutions, and try to bring the viewpoints of the parties closer together, noting that the European Union has asked Riyadh to mediate to resolve the problem and end the war between Russia and Ukraine.

He pointed out that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is visiting Riyadh and met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the issue of Gaza and Arab proposals regarding the future of the Strip were discussed.

He noted that a five-party summit will be held in Riyadh next Thursday, and it may include the Arab proposal that can be presented to the US administration.

He stressed that all eyes are currently on Riyadh, which is currently a pivotal point in the events, stressing that there is a great responsibility on the Saudi leadership in this regard.

Media figure Amr Adeeb added that the matter requires balance, and this balance is almost impossible, adding that he feels sorry for everyone working on this paper, especially Egypt.

He continued, Egypt has solutions and all Arabs are united on this matter in a way that preserves our people and our national security and achieves stability, noting that what is said in this matter is that firstly, neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority rules the Gaza Strip.

Amr Adeeb added that the second issue is who will finance the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, and the five Arab countries bear the responsibility before their countries, the world, and other parties. It will not be a conference like any other that will issue a statement, condemnation, and severity, but what is required is a real solution on the ground.
