PRESSR: Talabat supports the Kuwait Red Crescent’s Help Al-Aqsa campaign
Launching a campaign to collect donations through the Talabat platform in cooperation with the “Give” platform and the Kuwait Red Crescent Society
Talabat intensifies its efforts to build a better society
As part of its ongoing efforts to support humanitarian work and provide assistance to those in need in crisis areas, Talabat, the leading technology company, has taken a set of humanitarian initiatives to support the people of Gaza and help them overcome the shortage of basic necessities for a decent life.
Since the outbreak of the crisis in the Gaza Strip, many local and international organizations and entities have worked to provide support and relief to Palestinian citizens. Among these efforts is a joint initiative between Talabat, the “Give” platform, and the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, where a campaign was launched to collect donations through the Talabat digital platform.
Talabat also donated $540,000 to support the United Nations World Food Programme, which works to provide food aid in emergency situations. The donation amount will be used to provide the necessary assistance to affected families in the Gaza Strip.
It is worth noting that the Talabat platform, which is considered one of the largest technology and order delivery platforms in the region, has an important role in supporting humanitarian and social activities. It was one of the first companies to take immediate decisions to make all possible efforts to support humanitarian relief in the Gaza Strip, to alleviate the suffering of the population affected by the current humanitarian crisis.
