Al-Suhaimi: The number of foreign investors in the Saudi stock market exceeds 4.2 thousand investors

Riyadh - Mubasher: Sarah Al-Suhaimi, Chairperson of Tadawul Group, said that the number of qualified foreign investors in the Saudi market has reached 4,200 investors, representing 25% of the total market size.

Al-Suhaimi added during the Financial Market Forum in Riyadh today, Tuesday, that the Saudi market is always ranked among the top ten markets in the world in terms of market value, and it was ranked first globally in terms of listing growth.

She stressed that the fixed income market is expected to gain momentum in 2025, especially in sustainable finance.

She added: “Tadawul Group focuses on three main objectives: increasing the number of companies in the market, enhancing advanced markets, and ensuring an advanced financial infrastructure.”

Al-Suhaimi noted that the year 2024 was exceptional for the group and its subsidiaries, as more than 50 companies were listed on the main and parallel market, in addition to the increasing interest from foreign investors.

She stressed that Tadawul Group is today one of the important platforms in emerging financial markets, as it contributes significantly to enhancing the sustainability of the Saudi financial system and achieving tangible progress in the field of investment strategies.
