Riyadh - Mubasher: Astra Industrial Group's results for the third quarter of 2024 revealed a 35% increase in net profits compared to the same quarter of 2023, supported by sales in the pharmaceutical sector.

According to the company's data on the "Tadawul" website, today, Thursday, net profit after zakat and tax rose to 139.4 million riyals, compared to 103.4 million riyals, the company's profits in the third quarter of last year .

The company explained that the increase in net profits came as a result of the increase in sales and gross profit in the pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals sectors.

On a quarterly basis, the company's profits decreased by 17.4% compared to the previous quarter's profits, which amounted to 168.75 million riyals .

The company's profits increased in the first nine months of 2024 to 496.65 million riyals, compared to profits of 379.84 million riyals during the same period last year, by 31%.
